MDB Yoga

I have developed a variety of yoga offerings to meet you wherever you are at in your yoga journey.  If you are brand new to yoga one of my 5-week Yoga Fundamentals classes might be a good fit, but I also have brand new students begin in regular classes and do great. 

All of my classes will have a strong emphasis on building your own mind/body connection.  I am also a huge believer in your own bodily autonomy as a student.  I will guide you into poses, give you alignment cues and offer up modifications and variations.  But you are always welcome and encouraged to listen to your body and come out of poses, do something different, or take a rest anytime that you need.

Class Descriptions

Contemporary Hatha Yoga

Contemporary Hatha yoga classes are built on the rich foundation of classical hatha yoga poses, breath work and meditation techniques.  Contemporary Hatha adds functional movement, modern poses, self-care and stress relief techniques to help you find more balance, strength, mobility and peace in both body and mind.

Yoga Fundamentals

Yoga Fundamentals is a 5-week class series that covers all the yoga basics needed to set you up for success at the start of your yoga journey.  This is the perfect class to sign up for if you have never done yoga before or you are returning after a long time away from the mat.  If you are interested in this class, but do not see it on the schedule please reach out and let me know as I often wait to add it to my  schedule until I have a few people ready.

Classical Yoga

Classical Yoga classes will include much of the same instruction as Contemporary Hatha, but there will be more time and emphasis dedicated towards pranayama breath work and meditation techniques during the class time.

Private Yoga Classes

For those wanting to work on yoga in a 1 on 1 setting I offer private yoga classes.  These classes can be catered to meet your needs, whether you are brand new to yoga and wanting to build a strong foundation for your practice or a more experienced practitioner wanting to work on specific skills.

Private classes are $60/hour

If there is a class type that is of interest to you and you do not see it on the schedule currently please let me know.  I happily add more class offerings as I know there are people interested in them.
